The First Lady Of Star Trek Passes Away

It happened yesterday, but I just read about it, that Majel Barrett Roddenberry, the widow of "Star Trek" creator Gene Roddenberry and an actress whose longtime association with the "Star Trek" franchise included playing Nurse Christine Chapel in the original series, Lwaxana Troi in TNG and DS9 and the voice of the computer in nearly every Star Trek series and movie, died early Thursday morning. She was 76.

The L.A. Times has a full obituary.

Comments:
You will be able to hear her voice in next years Star Trek film as the ships computer.
